Verification v.s. Validation
上週在幫engineer 上training課時, 問了他們什麼是verfication 和validation, 很多人不知道他們是什麼, 以及有什麼區別
這裡是我簡單找到的定義, 希望能幫助你區分兩者的差別
Verification:
- The set of activities that ensure that software correctly implements a specific function
- Are we building the product right?
- Ensure that the product has been built according to the requirements and design specifications.
Validation
- A different set of activities that ensure that software that has been built is traceable to customer requiremetns
- Are we building the right product?
- Ensure that the product actually meets the user's needs, and that the specifications were correct in the first place
